ABOUT US

I’ve spent twenty years in rooms that weren't built for me. Now I use everything I’ve learned to make sure my clients don't get taken advantage of in them.
I’ve been the only woman in the room. I’ve watched founders – all smart, capable people – get talked out of their instincts, rushed into decisions, and walk away from sales that should have been theirs.
Not through fraud. Just through the quiet advantage that comes from knowing how the game works when the other side doesn't.
Feisty FD exists to close that gap. Not by making finance less intimidating, by making sure the people who've built something real understand exactly what it's worth, exactly how to protect it, and exactly what to do when someone tries to pay less than they should.

WHY THIS MATTERS
When women build wealth, society benefits.
I work with founders of all genders. But Feisty FD is particularly driven by what happens when women founders exit well.
Not because it's a nice story. Because when women control more of their wealth, they spend it differently, invest it differently, and build with it differently.
A good exit isn't just life-changing for the person who worked for it. It creates options that compound outward. That's worth working for.
PROTECTING WHAT COUNTS
Twenty years of patterns. Most of them avoidable.
Twenty years working in and alongside owner-led businesses, from startups to multi-million-pound exits, means the patterns are impossible to ignore.
The founder who didn't know their biggest client was a buyer risk. The management accounts that hadn't been standardised in four years. The deal that closed £600k below where it should have because nobody had run the numbers properly in advance.
This work is about protecting what you've built and making sure it funds the life you actually want.

Saying in public what most advisors only say in private.
Laura Linden speaks at founder conferences, women's leadership events, investor forums, and business summits on one subject: the financial decisions that determine what founders actually walk away with.
Her talks are built on twenty years of real exits, real founders, and real numbers. Not polished theory.
The lived reality of what actually goes wrong, what it truly costs, and what shifts when you do the work.
She's known for saying something the audience didn't already know.
KEYNOTE SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
Three talks. Each one built to leave your audience with something they can actually use.
